PALOMA, ROZ, KOT

Bandung based handmade eyewear brand O.K.O Eyewear has just got together with Sonderlab for an exclusive collection that includes a three-piece acetate eyewear collection: PALOMA, ROZ, KOT.

The exclusive collection focuses on self expression through courage by experimenting with colors and bold shapes for everyday wear. Hence, the theme of the collection is ‘Sorry, not Sorry’ which means being unapologetically you. An I-dont-give-a-damn attitude that existed prior to the age of social media. Doing stuff for you and you only.

A mix of a lot of things inspired this exclusive collaboration into one. Not exactly nostalgic, but these are some things everyone can relate to one way or another; Pixar characters, fizzy cocktails, sunset photos that can never do its justice, 80’s songs (especially Dare’s ‘Don’t You Want Me’), also Pepsi’s ‘Next Generation’ ad campaign, and lastly the feeling of jumping around in comfy shoes. The pink in PALOMA creates a sense of importance. It says ‘look at me!’ in a subtle way. The colors in ROZ represent mystery, always keeping people curious. Last but not least, the colors in KOT give off a more mature and serious vibes while still being super edgy.
