OMO and Sonderlab have joined forces to unveil an exclusive collaboration integrating art with fashion. This collection is an alter ego of the brand’s past collection, where it partakes to a darker turn than OMO’s usual aesthetic and plays around with contemporary visual optics that deceives the eye. The chosen prints are optic visuals inspired by shapes, fluids, and negative space. Whereas the colors are highly focused on darker tones, such as black, gray, electric blue, and dark tosca.
This Exclusive Release collaboration is inspired by the Trompe l'oeil, an art genre displaying optical illusion- where art mimics the real object. The collection includes a wine glass shaped pouch, semi-wool trousers, long sleeve top, knitted vest, and a maxi skirt. As for the materials, most of the fabrics are nylon spandex and cotton polyester, therefore they have elasticity in them and create an illusion as if it blends with the body.
